About the University of Zanjan

University Introduction

The University of Zanjan was established in 1974 with the aim of cultivating talent through education and scientific research to help equip and supply the country's needed specialized human resources, and to create research facilities to identify unknown potential factors and increase scientific capacity in various fields of science in the city of Zanjan. Presently, the University of Zanjan, recognized as the greenest university in Iran according to the Green Metric ranking, considers its main duties to be educating students in various fields, establishing university relations with domestic and foreign universities through cultural and academic agreements, holding scientific and educational seminars and conferences, and translating and authoring books and publications in various scientific fields. This university, with an area of over 400 hectares, has a very high capacity for developing suitable educational and welfare spaces for students. Appropriate facilities and a very green space outside the city have provided a suitable environment for students to focus on learning and conducting research, away from the racket of the city. Top scientists like Professor Ramezani, who are among the prominent scientific figures, are engaged in training young scientists at the University of Zanjan. The university currently has student exchange agreements with over 25 international universities.
