Following the previous coordination of the International Scientific Cooperation Office of the University of Zanjan, one of the top three greenest universities in Iran, 50 International students of Zanjan University of Medical Sciences observed the moon and planets on November 20, 2024, at the Observatory based at the University of Zanjan. The majority of these students were from Lebanon, Pakistan, and Iraq.
